Who We Work With

We work with general contractors, developers, architects and property managers seeking an NYC drywall subcontractor. Homeowners doing major renovations can also request a bid. Share who is coordinating the project and who will review the scope. That contact helps clarify the drawing package, sequencing and interfaces with other trades before the bid is finalized.

Drywall hanging

Send drawings or a scope identifying the walls and ceilings to receive board. Include available material specifications, dimensions and any areas that need patching rather than full replacement. Drywall work needs coordination with framing, openings and work that must remain accessible before closure. Identify the condition expected when the area is handed over and flag details that are still unresolved.

Taping and finishing

Describe the finish requirements in the drawing package or written scope and identify the surfaces included. Joint treatment, corners and transitions should be discussed with the intended final finish in mind. Painting and decorative finishes are separate scope questions, not assumed inclusions. Where the specification is incomplete, the written bid should state the assumptions rather than leave the finish expectation open to interpretation.

Patch and repair

For patch work, provide photographs and approximate dimensions of the affected areas. Note whether the underlying cause of damage has been addressed and whether adjacent finishes will remain. The scope should distinguish localized repairs from wider board replacement and identify any work that needs a site review. A photograph helps describe the request but does not establish every concealed condition behind the surface.

Framing

If you need more than one trade, select “multiple” on the bid-request form and send a coordinated scope. Include partition locations, rough openings, soffits and backing requirements before board installation is planned. Clarify which other trades need access and when the general contractor expects areas to be ready. Keep framing and drywall inclusions visible in the written bid so each handoff has an agreed scope.

How We Bid

Send drawings or a written scope with the project address or borough, approximate size, project type and schedule. We review the information and return a written bid with assumptions and exclusions listed so it can be compared line for line. Identify drawing revisions, the requested bid due date and access restrictions in the request. A requested date is not a commitment to a particular turnaround or start date.

Coverage & Credentials

We cover Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx. NYC Home Improvement Contractor License No. 2138166-DCWP, issued by the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. Requirements depend on the actual building and scope. This license is not a claim of additional trade credentials or a substitute for required project-specific professional review.
